This is an excellent opportunity to work with complex deep wells in a very challenging reservoir, performing all the relevant cementing supervision activities on the field.
My client has a number of 2000hp drilling rigs operating in the area. Drilling wells over 5500+m deep, H2S, both vertical and deviated wells, Multilayer Reservoir with High Pressure environment in some layers. It is a 3-4 year drilling programme.
Work schedule:
Staff or Contract , 28/28 OR 14/14 rotation. At least 3-4 year long contract with an option to extend. Job is based out of Western Kazakhstan.
Minimum requirements:
15+ years of industry experience, experience in Cementing on a Supervisors level. BS Petroleum Engineering or equivalent. Current/updated relevant certificates. Languages: English. Russian would be an advantage. Ability to get a work permit / eligibility to work in Kazakhstan on rotational basis.
Work experience:

Подбирать, оценивать и руководить работой внешних консультантов по инжинирингу объектов. • Участвовать в сравнительном анализе результатов работы Компании и ее основных конкурентов. • Проводить анализ рисков при проектировании обустройства месторождений с целью их минимизации. • Активно внедрять и следовать новейшим разработкам оборудования и технических решений, осуществлять их поиск по специально издаваемой литературе, участвовать в технических совещаниях и на выставках, курсах повышения квалификации. • Внедряет методы повышения экономической эффективности для проектов в рамках компании. • Участвовать в корпоративном проекте «Обмен опытом и знаниями» в качестве эксперта и координатора по своему направлению. • Совместно с Управлением персоналом разрабатывать программы по обучению и повышению квалификации для работников Компании по новым подходам к проектированию обустройства месторождений. • Отвечать за организацию «наставничества» менее квалифицированному штату сотрудников Компании по своему направлению. • Готовить технические отчеты для руководства Компании по своему направлению, а также презентации для сторонних Компаний.

Function

Requirements

For the drilling project in DUBAI an oil development and production company urgently seeks a high calibre Drilling Contracts Engineer with a sound knowledge and experience of drilling / workover rig operations and associated services including all other aspects of offshore oil and gas production. The candidate should have the ability to formulate, evaluate and negotiate professionally complex contracts with particular emphasis on well services principally in support of Drilling Department but also working closely with the Contracts/Commercial Department. Main Duties will include:
Tender Evaluation for Drilling Operations Tenders: Preparation and issue of Rig and Drilling Services tender documents. Prepare the Bidders list for each operating discipline and prepare a proposal for the Commercial Department. Preparation of tenders scope of work pertaining to drilling services & materials. Co-ordinate bidding, bid commercial analysis and clarifications. Co-ordinate commercial contract negotiations. Carry out technical and commercial assessment of the Contractors/Bidders. Recommend the most efficient Service Companies with all the required justifications. The activities should include preparation and presentation of all documentation necessary to acquire Tender Board approvals. Preparation and issue of Contract documents. Plan and develop contract requisitions for required services. Implement / execute system to administer contract change orders / requests. Administer Contract Amendments.
Coordination task: Works in close coordination with Contract/Commercial Department and drilling department. Close liaison with Drilling Department and Engineering Department regarding the shared services such as fabrication. Provides supporting services to all concerned teams within the organization in interpretation of contracts terms and conditions. Post Contract Control: Effectively administrate and supervise the drilling and service contracts through the duration of the contract period. Administer claims. Invoice management. Assist in the development, implementation and execution of Project Control Systems. Manage contract close out activities. To ensure that above activities are implemented in a cost effective manner and as per the company’s approved policy/standards/guidelines.
Successful candidates must have: 10 years previous experience in both pre and post contract engineering in oil & gas industry
