Accountability To provide detailed design input to Brownfield engineering projects, technical support studies as requested, engineering support to the construction / commissioning phases as necessary and providing engineering support to maintenance and operations as requested
Basic Functions Provide detailed engineering input during all design phases, including interpretation of standards.
Principal Responsibilities Responsibility for relevant engineering projects. Ensure effective communication and interface definition between all disciplines for relevant project design, review and check progresses. Actively train and encourage the development of Russian junior engineering staff Provide detailed discipline engineering input during all design phases, including interpretation of standards. Provide highest quality discipline input into conceptual design teams.
Technical / Business Skills: Structural Analysis / Primary Steel and Structural Design Project Scopes (EPC, FEED, Revamp) Materials of Construction Constructability Experience
Interpersonal Skills: Personally resilient, flexible, self-confident, and assertive Required to work in multi-disciplinary team. Able to communicate / interface with project team and engineering personnel.
Competencies: Fluent spoken and written English. Demonstrate good safety awareness. Proficient in use of Stadd Pro, or similar 3-D engineering design software.
Business & Industry Experience: 5 years oil and gas engineering required. Or heavy mining or related industry Some Field experience in construction and commissioning preferred. Experience in an engineering design company/ Russian Design Institute desirable.
