We work with a reputable Engineering Company that is based out of Western Kazakhstan who is involved in Joint venture activities with central European company in Western Kazakhstan and who are currently seeking for an experienced and qualified Project Finance Supervisor for their operations in Kazakhstan.
You will be involved in a project execution team for a new build Gas Plant .
Main responsibilities:
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Check/Control/Monitor progress on the project against the overall schedule, and advising
Project Director of any significant deviations which could threaten the business
objectives
Managing the project variance and trend process (budget vs. spent analysis), project
forecast etc. including a control (i) on the general cost development and (ii) on the cost
of the PMC team (as a cost factor in the total cost of project)
Review the progress reports submitted by PMC for all phases of the project, evaluate the
percentage of completion and report accordingly.
Keeping track of various milestones / reviews and keeping Project Director informed on
deadlines.
Through cost risk analysis techniques determine risks and recommend project controls,
budget and associated contingency.
Review the resources planning schedule in order to ensure that sufficient resources are
available in PMC team and with contractors.
Advise Project Director about the project changes in work scope and ensure
appropriate planning measures are taken and changes in budget are approved.
Responsible for verification of invoices, processing allocation of costs, payments and
assessing change order costs for agreement.
Prepare cost estimates for all project based activities and generate project cash flow
profile as required for PEC level
Support/Participate (selected) in commercial evaluations of project proposals during
tendering process.
Interface with PMC members to gather cost information to determine actual vs planned
spent.
Contribute to project proposals / project execution plans, including pricing and cash flows
Take the responsibility for ensuring that monthly cost information is timely and accurately
available to the project director.
Control the reconciliation process with PMC during project close out phase.
Main Prerequisites:
5+ years of experience in the industry
Ideal candidate should posses a relevant degree
Be fluent in Russian and English, both written and oral.
Have wealth of experience in Kazakhstan or knowledge of local laws and regulations.
Ability to demonstrate appropriate technical knowledge.
Have excellent administrative and Communications skills
Oil and Gas experience will advantageous.

Location: Western Kazakhstan
Work will be on either 6on / 2 off or 5 on / 2 off rotation or other if preferred.

This position is based in Russia. Auditor of Seismic Equipment will be involved in a major Oil & Gas operator’s project.
Activities:
• Review all aspects of the field operation, including vehicles, to ensure that local, national and international (IAGC and OGP) industry standards are met, along with agreed contractual specifications.
• Carry out the programmed inspections and audits previously defined by HSE head.
• Meet with Company and Seismic contractor management to outline the remit of the audit prior to departure to the field/ crew.
• Conduct the audit in an open and constructive manner, in co-operation with all involved parties including the seismic contractor´s management and safety representatives, to find practical solutions for each problem encountered.
• Site visits to all field operations, inspections of vehicles and facilities, and interviews with key personnel. The auditor should meet as many personnel as practicable,
• Conduct a full review of the contractor HSE documentation and HSE plan and how this integrates with requirements of RF legislation and client HSE plans. Examine crew communications emergency response plans, medical and first aid cover.
• Inspect all potentially high risk operations, including the use of vehicle and seismic energy sources, to measure that suitably trained and experience personnel are working safely and efficiently with correctly maintained equipment.
• Review crew reporting and training procedures to ensure that HSE meetings, tool box meetings, briefings, unsafe act auditing and risk assessment are being correctly carried out.
• Inspect camp facilities to ensure that the welfare of all the crew personnel is in accordance with requirements of RF legislation and industry - accepted standards. These inspections should include the check of living caravans, kitchen, laundry, toilets and shower rooms, storage places of water used for portable and household needs, collection sites of waste, collection and disposal of sewage water, fuels and lubricants storage site.
• Review crew transport methods, especially of personnel.

• Conduct a full audit to all subcontractors companies on crew, and review subcontractor’s contracts.

This position is based in Russia. Geodetic/Survey data QC supervisor will be involved in a major Oil & Gas operator’s project.
Activities:
• Review contract, scopes of work and technical specifications to ensure their correctness in terms of geodetic and survey content. • Research the basis of geodetic data relating to the project to ensure that the datum, spheroid and projection to be utilized are correctly defined so that final coordinates and levels will be expressed in the correct geodetic and mapping systems. • As required, analyze data relating to earlier seismic survey projects in the survey area and derive a relationship with current GPS derived coordinates. If required identify and apply appropriate datum shift parameter adjustments to old data sets to bring them in line with the current datum, spheroid and projection for the prospect. • Analyze existing positional and level data for the prospect and determine required GPS observations to establish the relationships between topographical map detail, satellite or aerial photograph imagery, existing control points, seismic markers and wells. Assemble topographical maps, shot point location maps, well logs, aerial photographs, satellite imagery and other documentation. Produce documents with data related to a single geodetic and mapping framework if required. • Visit the seismic prospect at or near to start up to audit and report on the seismic contractor’s (and any survey sub-contractor’s) surveying methods, equipment, software and technical procedures to ensure the provision of accurate final coordinates and heights. • Supervise the establishment of the surveying control network, its GPS observations and processing, and the initial stages of the line surveying. • As required visit the seismic prospect during or at the end of acquisition to ensure survey data of acceptable quality is being or has been produced. • As required, visit the seismic prospect and use independent differential GPS (DGPS) equipment to verify plan and height coordinates at selected field stations and/or control points and to analyze the absolute accuracy of geophone station and shot point coordinates. • Review final reports, maps and list of coordinates to ensure final three dimensional survey data sets meet technical requirements and that data are presented in an acceptable form according to the specifications. • Subsequently, verify coordinates of proposed wells and establish their ground position using contracted or independent DGPS equipment to ensure that drilling is carried out in the correct relationship to the seismic data set. • Following civil engineering works to establish the drilling location, ensure that final top hole coordinates and reference orientation are correctly determined and circulated. • Submit a comprehensive and fully documented independent report on Seismic Contractor’s performance on completion of project. The report should document the survey control network, mention quality control procedures, techniques used to improve data quality or production rates and problems encountered which prevented any of the survey’s objectives from being realized; and should be supported by photographs. Recommendations for future work must be included. This report must form part of the final report to be submitted by the Team Leader.
