Main responsibilities: • To analyze the project procurement demands expressed by Engineers. • To participate to the finalizing of the statement of requirements. • To determine the commercial conditions which best serve the company’s interests. • Preparation of bidder lists. • To prepare and send out the dossier of invitations to bid (float of inquiries). • Issue of Bid History report to Project Team (after bid receipt). • Economical and contractual negotiations. • In relation with the relevant Purchasing Group Leader and the Head of Supply Market Management, analyze the propositions, participate to the clarifications and to the negotiations, issue of Commercial Bid Evaluation to the Project. • To finalize the contractual documents according to the General Conditions of procurement, by ensuring the conformity with the regulations which may be applied. • To intervene in the settlement of law suits in relation with the juridical, insurance and financial Department. • Cooperate with Project teams in highlighting main reasons of eventual extra budgets and proposing mitigation actions. • Expediting of Purchase Orders. • To follow and know the markets, participate to the follow-up, and the evaluation of the suppliers and contractors. Main requirements: • Diploma: Master’s degree. • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience. • Knowledge of petroleum & chemical industry. • Knowledge of SAP. • Strong communication skills necessary for a range of complex internal and external negotiations. • Knowledge of computer and common business software plus knowledge of ERP software package.
