Position Completion and Well Intervention Engineer
Responsibilities
• Support Wells in the efficient execution of the Well Delivery Process as per the Business Plan. • Responsible for both minor and major value (>$5Mln) contracts • Continual improvement in the process in minimizing both execution duration and cost. Total annual Wells budget is $150 mln, a target cost reduction is 10%. • Minimizing Cost and Oil Deferment by driving the rDtL practices in the department, whilst still ensuring HSE performance and Well Integrity is maintained. • Responsible for well testing, coordination of all well head maintenance and for the Well Integrity databases including all required WI maintenance programs • Evaluation of ideas and translation to economically viable projects that result in the intended improvement within agreed budget. • Development and maintenance of adequate operational procedures for Completion and Intervention Activities • Follow Russian legislation and Company requirements and standards at all times. • Training and development of all staff assigned to work with him.
Qualifications/Experience
• Minimum 10 years experience in oil field environment as an office based Engineer or field Supervisor, in-depth knowledge of well construction and completion process. • Qualified Engineer • Good communication skills are required to respond correctly to verbal and written tasks given in both Russian and English. Ability to communicate to and enthuse their team members and others (departmental and/or non departmental). • English language-upper-intermediate level • Industrial and Labor Safety qualifications as appropriate and possession of an IWCF certificate. • Knowledge and ability to stand in for Senior C&WI Engineer when required • An ability to work under tight deadlines and change priorities quickly. • Fulfill all required safety training as may be specified by Company • Knowledge of and utilization of the rDtL process. • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to keep others informed and get buy in to proposed projects.
