Function
• Prepared the Russian Tax Reporting package: collecting, analyzing tax registers & preparing tax reports.
• Implemented E-Filing of Tax Returns.
• Monitored accounting records in accordance with the Russian accounting standards
• Provided Tax support to other departments
• Reviewed contracts / agreements from tax perspective.
• Identified any tax risks arising
• Negotiated / communicated with TA during tax audits (both in-house & field) & analyze the results of such audits; reconciliation with Tax authorities.
• Participated in implementation of policies, guidelines, procedures on tax matters
• Calculated Deferred Tax
• Prepared Cash Forecast for Tax payments. Controlled timely tax payments.
• Assists in maintaining tax records and preparing all or specifically assigned tax returns and related reports.
• Recording and Maintaining the tax registrars for the Russian Chart of Accounts,
• Reconciliation of tax liabilities and tax payments.
• Prepared tax declarations in compliance with RF legislation and filing tax declarations with the tax authorities
• Communications with tax inspection, monthly closing
• Handles special projects, as assigned
Requirements
• English - fluent
• 2 years corporate tax or accounting experience
• 2 years expirience in oil&gaz industry, consulting for oil&gaz companies, or industry as well
• Relevant tax or accounting qualification such as ACCA or CIMA
• A thorough understanding of the principles of taxation in Russia, of Russian Accounting Standards and of the principles of taxation in other CIS countries is essential
• Adaptable and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
• Energetic
