Location: Vietnam
Our client is an oil and gas oriented engineering consulting firm. The company provides complete engineering design services for major projects covering Feasibility Study, process evaluation, economic analysis, and conceptual detail designing all disciplines of engineering.
General Responsibilities:
- Working on detailed engineering design complied with project requirements;
- Referring to specific duties and responsibilities;
- Meeting Client as company representative to deal with engineering issues;
- Working with all relevant Parties, such as PMC, EPC Contractor, CA, etc...
- Providing training courses or on-job training for junior staff.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Using skills and experiences from the previous projects to analyze the input data provided by the company/Client
with the suitable softwares for detailed engineering design and other matters of the project.
- Developing the Detailed Engineering Design Execution Plan to meet the project requirements;
- Ensuring the work is executed properly in accordance with the requirement of the Contract;
- Participating with all project teams / engineers to deal with engineering issues and requirements from Client and Third Parties;
- Reporting to the company's Deputy Project Manager (Vietnamese);
- Reporting to Management Board;
- Preparing all Reports/Procedures for Project Management;
- Reviewing progress reports and MOM for the company/client in Engineering aspect;
- Working as a leader in HAZOP, such as organizing the meeting and preparing documents or dealing with the pending items on FEED documents.
- Developing training courses and relevant workshops;
- Managing all necessary quality records of the project;
- Following the current standards of international organizations and company’s to ensure the work is carried out with high quality;
- Being responsible for Project quality, sufficiency and schedule;
- Being part of the Bid/ Tender team in preparation of quotations and tenders in cooperation with Marketing & Sales team;
- Reviewing of Client Tender documents, raising clarifications and control other work flows in term of schedule and budgets.
Requirements:
- Engineering and construction in oil and gas industry: minimum 20 years experience;
- Detailed Engineering Design: minimum 7 years experience;
- Experience in offshore/onshore pipelines projects
- Being familiar to international codes and standards, such as ANSI, ASME, API, BS, NFPA, DNV, etc;
- Recognized international professional Association membership is preferable;
- English (advanced).
- Bachelors in Engineering or related fields;
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Licensed Professional Engineer.
