Moscow office of international company – a manufacturer of polymers and fine chemicals is looking for a: Technical Consultant Catalysts

Tasks and responsibilities
• Focus on hands-on startup of hydroprocessing units
• Assist the business in identifying technical needs and opportunities
• Prepare competitive technical proposals and recommendations for hydroprocessing catalyst applications to existing and potential customers
• Carry out technical negotiations with customers
• Proactively monitor and evaluate hydroprocessing unit operations and catalyst performance, with the aim to increase unit performance and customer satisfaction.
• Perform technical services, like unit loading/start-up assistance, unit monitoring, catalyst lifetime prediction and troubleshooting
• Perform studies for customers to optimize and improve profitability of their hydroprocessing units
• Maintain and improve our proprietary calculation models
• Prepare and present technical papers at seminars and congresses
• Customer visits and on-site assistance of 35-40% of working time.

Skills and Education
• At least a Bachelor degree, preferably in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in process design or refining process industry, related to operation in Hydroprocessing units.
• English very good, both written and spoken.
• An inquiring, flexible and service minded attitude
• A strong mix of commercial, technical and communicative skills is needed to be successful.
• Self-motivating attitude

Conditions:

• Fixed salary + 20 % year bonus
