PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Reviews with RM and Global Inventory Management, inventory levels and supply chain proceedures to ensure consistency and cross communication across the Region for inventory control.
• Works with Supply Chain to identify and find issues with products that require alternate sourcing through costing , alternate suppliers and supply chain analysis.
• Manages manufacturing and blending within Regional business Plans.Project management of all new manufacturing and blending locations and bases in the Region, within EH operational procedures.
• Integration/collaboration with Global Supply Chain on all aspects of their initiatives on a Global scale. Ensure GOBU’s exposure to EH BU’s such that their resources are known and shared. Attends Global Supply Chain team meetings.
• Participates on EH Operational Global Supply Chain team and Global Supply Chain manufacturing team where applicable.
• Develops and contributes to Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Coordinates with Technical on Product Stewardship issues to ensure consistency in manufacturing and procedures.
• Analyses and monitors Supply chain and Logistic procedure and methods and shares best practices.
• Works with QHSSE and coordinates and ensures completion of QHSSE ISO accreditation projects at all targeted manufacturing and blending facilities.
• Reviews and manages manufacturing and blending with Regional Managers.
• Project management of all new manufacturing and blending locations and bases in the region, with direction from Eastern Hemisphere Operations manager based on procedures in place.
• Integration/collaboration with Global Business Unit departments on all aspects of their initiatives on a Global scale.
• Manages Regulatory risk by working with QHSSE and Legal department.
• Ensures operational completion of QHSSE ISO accreditation projects at all targeted manufacturing and blending facilities owned or not
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor degree in Chemistry or Business
• Demonstrable broadbrush operational experienceworldwide included but not limited to chemical manufacturing , industry experience, Supply chain , logistics, procurement, sourcing, sales and technology .
• A proven record of responsiblilty/accountability to meeting operating budgets, driving continuous improvement and change in a multi-disciplinary environment, and safety leadership are all requirements.
• Experience in developing employees and performance management to maximize employee performance.
• Overseas experience as a Manager in a foreign setting, with experience supervising at all levels.
• A strong understanding and experience in QHSSE, ISO regulations, hazardous materials handling, and environmental regulations is required.
• ERP systems experience essential .
• Ability to multi-task, excellent written and oral communication skills,.
• Leadership and Management skills, Financial acumen, Service motivated, Strong people skills .Computer and network experience , ability to process and procedural mapping Proven Experience and ability to operate in any different environments
