Sr. Well Construction Engineer
TYPE OF EXPERIENCE: Onshore West Sibera, Oil and Gas Wells, Drilling Operations, Well Control (Valid IWCF certificate). Work experience with international Oil Companies.
MISSION:
Assist company to manage the best in class Well Construction projects. Lead drilling, completion and testing projects (preparation and operations), prepare the technical reviews documents for Development Assumptions for project under severe nordic weather conditions ensuring compliance with regulations and Company QHSE.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Engineering and Drilling & Completion Operations skills in West Siberia and Russian regions is required,
- Excellent knowledge of well control best practices,
- Excellent knowledge in Project’s QAQC
- Drilling engineering and well planning competence,
- Competency to manage people,
- Drilling Operations supervisory skills,
- Engineering softwares as Landmark or similar,
- Have Microsoft project expertise,
- Understanding and application of continuous improvement processes,
- English language – Upper-Intermediate
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
- Lead the Well Construction visualization and conceptualization for Development project in Russia,
- Prepare technological solutions for development fields in terms of well constructions
- Work close with the engineering team, organize and supervise the work of drilling engineers,
- Supervise the drilling engineering function and ensure quality well designs and programs in compliance with the Company policy,
o Responsible for Engineering Quality Process
o Prepare offset well review for evaluation, lesson learn and action plan,
o Evaluate pore pressure/fracture gradient generation,
o Preparation of drilling hazard review and risk assessments,
o Preparation of well design for peer review according to COMPANY Well Engineering Minimum Operating Standards,
o Prepare casing/tubular design to meet pore pressures and frac gradients,
o Prepare class V,IV well cost
o Prepare the documents for technical audits and reviews: Peer assist, Peer review, Technical review,etc
- Scrutinize drilling programs from the DE’s,
- Work with Drilling operations department to implement the drilling & completion programs whilst fostering teamwork between Company disciplines and departments and between Company and Service Providers,
-Well budget preparation and cost monitoring for exploration, appraisal and development projects,
- Responsible for well costs and equipment inventory,
- Responsible for quality of project delivery by Institute for well construction design,
- Responsible for implementation specific engineering programs into the operational well program,
- Manage sub-contractors for well construction and related services belong his responsibility,
- Preparation of lesson learn and comprehensive end of well report generated for each well,
- Responsible for planning of upcoming wells and implement captured lesson learn,
- Multicultural experience to work with JV (local and international operator)
