He supervises and co-ordinates customs clearance and local transportation of equipment and materials.

The job -holder carries out administrative duties related to the preparation of documents required for customs clearance and goods transportation.

He acts as the focal point for the activities of customs clearance for contractors and the company.

• Arrange technical specifications for customs clearance of imported and exported goods.

• Coordination of transportation of project equipment and materials including Out of gauge and Heavy lift equipment.

• Collaboration with Logistic team in Europe

• Day by day cooperation with Customs Broker/Customs

• Supervising of material deliveries

• Building professional relationships with Client, Freight Forwarder and Customs broker.

• Attendance to periodical meetings with Client, Construction and Material Team at SITE & sub-contractors related to Transport and Customs activities.

• preparation of issues correctness of Weekly & Monthly Progress Reports both Customs clearance Status/Register & Transportation.

• Ability to understand technical aspects and cargo description particularities (experience in Chemical, Industrial, Gas, Oil & Gas companies).

• Ability to represent company in State & Commercial organization and local Authorities;

ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Guarantee and optimize the provision of efficient logistics support in terms of transport/custom services

- Ensure the respect of customs procedures.

PROFILE/ QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Bachelor degree in Business Administration / Engineering or equivalent

- 5 years’ experience in customs management activities within the Oil/Gas, chemical Industries.

- Upper-Intermediate English
