Area of Responsibilities
Interpretation of all geological data and maturation of robust geological models
•Construction and maintenance of a set of representative 3D reservoir models that capture all uncertainties
•Work with engineers to calibrate models, identify, test and rank development options
•Identification of drilling opportunities, prospect evaluation, risks and uncertainties quantification
•Identification, specification and quality control of appropriate outsource studies
•Provide documentation needed to support business planning, operations and regulatory bodies
•Support reserve reporting group
•Technology lookout: continuous screening of applicability and benefit of new technologies
•Mentoring of more junior geologists and staff from other disciplines
Required Skill
•10+ years of experience in geology
•Advanced level of Engilish
•Advanced level in seismic interpretation, sequence stratigraphy and well log correlation and interpretation
•Advanced logs (NMR, FMI) interpretation is a plus
•Proven skills in integration of all geological, geophysical petrophysical and production data into robust static reservoir models
•Strong skills in risk and uncertainty analysis pertaining to reservoir models, volumetric and development planning, value of information assessment
•Proven track record of new discoveries / increased recovery through innovative ideas
•Ability to work with other subsurface disciplines in order to identify and mature new opportunities
•Experience in unconventional plays and /or West Siberian Basin geology is a plus
•International experience with operators in various geological settings
•Good understanding of geophysics, petrophysics, reservoir engineering and economics
•Good organizational skills: ability to manage multiple outsource studies
•Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, Russian is a plus
•Must be able to work as part of a multidiscipline team under intense operating pressure
•Support reserve reporting group

•Mentoring of more junior geologists and staff from other disciplines
