Responsibilities:

• Training of personnel

o Development of training programs

o Training of less experienced Cost Controllers

• Cost Control Procedures

o Development of Cost Control Procedures

o Updating and maintaining of Cost Control Procedures

• Supervision of Personnel

o Mentor and instruct Cost Controllers as to Enter cost control standards

o Ensure delivery of cost control reports and analysis

o Actively work with cost control team to assist in achieving the project budget

• Supervision of Personnel

o Mentor and instruct Cost Controllers as to Enter cost control standards

o Plan delivery of cost control reports and analysis

• Reporting

o Produce & publish weekly progress, analysis & cost report

o Monthly financial reporting

• Forecasting

o Progress, Manpower & Productivity by Discipline

o Costs – Direct & Indirect – Labour, Materials, Equipment and Subcontracts

o Cost Analysis

• Change Management

o Manage change of the budget and forecast hour and dollar values

• Coding

o Assure verification of cost coding – Timesheets, PO’s & etc

• Review, update & maintain

o Event Register (Change Management)

o Weekly progress, productivity & manpower charts & curves

o Ensure alignment with Scheduling (current budget hours used)

• Meetings

o Attend project meetings

8. Reporting to (position):

Director Project Controls

Requirements:

At least 5 years experience in similar role gained in a construction environment in Oil and Gas

Minimum 3 years on site

Russian Fluent

English Fluent

Education: Main:Bachelor of Engineering and/or equivalent experience in the construction environment.

Required special knowledge and skills:

• Demonstrated high level of coordination skills in order to gather cost data from project leaders, accounts and others.

• Demonstrated well developed skills in MS Office Suite in order to create well structured documents, spreadsheets, presentations, proposals and other documents.

• Experience using cost applications and databases for project cost control

• Demonstrated professional presentation skills, when liaising with external parties including clients, subcontractors, suppliers and vendors over the phone or in person.

• An ability to be flexible, to adapt to changing deadlines and business demands, with an ability to grow with the business.

Software knowledge:

Cost Control applications

Excel, Access, Power Point, Word

Database applications

Relocation to another country (it is warm there)
