Lead Commissioning Engineer
Responsibilities
- Coordinates the portfolio of approximately 80 separate projects utilising own developed overarching commissioning plan and individual commissioning dossiers.
- Develops and reviews ISSOW for commissioning activities and maintains a high safety standard within the commissioning team and guidance to disciplines as required; provides daily direction, schedules and technical guidance to the commissioning team.
- Reviews design packages / job packs to ensure that they are optimized and take due account of commissioning issues.
- Resolves Technical Queries, with recourse to 3rd Party Designers as necessary.
- Liaises with Installation Contractors, clarifying all design aspects to ensure that they are safely and efficiently constructed / tested / commissioned.
- Closely interacts with representatives of different technical disciplines to ensure that due account is taken of all discipline requirements.
- Provides required input to Company planning / scheduling / progress-monitoring / costing activities.
- Manages process & development of modification handover dossier contents and deliverables per the CSU implementation guide, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient acceptance.
- Provides technical input to ensure technical completeness and integrity of constructed facilities. Maintains accurate records (as-built mark-ups, punch lists, etc.).
- Develops commissioning procedures and documentation for assigned projects.
- Develops Russian staff in commissioning engineering and technical support.
- Participates in Asset HSE Programmes (STOP/Audit/Incident Review).
- Performs other tasks received from Line Manager and performs all other responsibilities required for fulfilment of the tasks and functions assigned to the Org.Unit.
Requirements:
- Experience in offshore (sea platform)
- 4 years in Comissioning
- 10 years in Oil and Gas
-higher professional engineering education;
-additional professional training in preparation and implementation of Commissioning activities;
- English at- Upper-Intermediate
