Inspection Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Personally acts as inspector for the most critical supplies in the assigned area.
• Facilitates communications between headquarter and local branch (supplier or inspection agencies).
• Contributes to build up and maintain a team of external inspectors developing their loyalty.
• Constantly monitor the external inspectors performances.
• In case of orders not personally assigned, according to the instruction received from the relevant Main Inspector, will perform specific inspection task with particular reference to the PIM.
• In close coordination with the Headquarter Inspector, he/she will act to the local supplier to provide his/her support in the criticalities handling.
• Under the delegation of the IML, he/she is personally involved in the qualification path of new supplier in the geographical area.
Requirements:
• Mechanical skill (both on Pressure Vessels/Steel Structure).
• Preferable NDE Level for PT/MT/UT/RT (minimum Level 2).
• Capability to read and understand mechanical general arrangement drawings.
• Welding knowledge (Certified Welding Engineer - CWE or Certified Welding Inspector – CWI).
• Capability to comment/approve Testing Procedures/ITP for static equipment/steel structure.
• Over 5 years of experience as inspector/inspector coordinator.
• Good knowledge of English language, written and spoken.
