Construction Manager
The project involves both greenfield and brownfield modifications.
Responsibilities
Purpose: the Construction Manager will be responsible for the planning and management of all construction activities for the Project
Job Description:
To provide construction planning and constructability input during concept select, FEED and detailed design.
Carry the overall repsonsibility for the construction scope of work and construction specification in the construction contracts for the OPF Compression Project.
Manage early site construction activities including site preparation, camp facilities, geotechnical survey works, early tie-in works and beach landing facility construction ahead of the main construction work.
Manage the main construction work assuring scope, quality, schedule and cost at the various stages of the project.
Provide HSE leadership and ensure that the HSE targets are met or exceeded.
Ensure full compliance of all contractors and constrcuction staff with the applicable HSE and QA/QC policies incuding equipment and material preservation on site.
Work together with the OR&A key team members to ensure that the construction deliverables meet the requirements contained in the OP plan.
Play a leading role in the recruitment of the onshore construction team.
Ensure that effective procedures and systems are in place in order to monitor and control cost, progress and quality: provide effective co-ordination to ensure that construction activities are proceeding according to plan.
Manage all construction changes impacting cost, schedule and quality. Implement contingency planning as required.
Assist in developing approval strategies and co-ordinate all approvals related to construction activities.
Provide data, background and other information required to support lenders and other regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Minimum 15 years experience in construction planning and management.
Education: BSc or equivalent in Mechanical, Civil, Structural Engineering or other appropriate subject.
Experience with large-scale projects in Oil and Gas with budgets over 500 mln $
Familiarity with all Project phases is mandatory
Sound technical, commercial and negotiation experience.
Fluent English, native Russian
The position will demand relocation to the east of Russia
