•Advises discipline supervisors for their involvement of all HSE matters as: ◦Preventing injury to personnel, damage to plant and fire prevention ◦Ways to improve existing work methods ◦Statutory and contractual requirements affecting HSE at work ◦Provision, use and maintenance of protective clothing and equipment. •Ensures of suitability from the HSE aspect of new or hired equipment. •Supports CCs effort for producing Risk assessment and JSA. •Conducts audits and inspection to make sure that only safe working systems are in operation and that health, safety and fire prevention requirements are being observed. •Maintains contact with CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS' HSE representatives in order to co-ordinate and assists the CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS in the implementation and enforcement of the HSE program. •Assists CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS in investigations to determine the cause of incidents and dangerous occurrences and recommending means of preventing recurrences. •Attends regular progress and management meetings, reviewing HSE performance, injuries, damage and dangerous occurrences.
