Big company is looking for Senior Electrical Engineer (LNG).
Function
• Perform leading role in LNG Complex Overall Engineering, Commissioning and Start-up;
• Participate in development of Detailed Engineering documentation and update of Project documentation for LNGC to ensure compliance with RF Codes and Standards and Company Specifications;
• Liaise with Vendors of main electrical equipment to ensure compliance with Project requirements including factory acceptance tests in Manufacturers’ shops and at the Site;
• Quality control of installation works and participation in Commissioning of new LNGC facilities;
• Maintenance of Power generation and distribution systems as well as electrical equipment maintenance while ensuring high HSE performance;
• Ensure reliability and integrity of electrical equipment and systems by implementation of relevant reliability assurance methods;
• Ensure uninterruptible operation of power generation and electrical equipment by means of maintenance and remedial activities to achieve safe and economical operation of plant units;
• Interact with all levels of authorities;
• Perform leading role in troubleshooting of electrical systems;
• Personnel training and transfer of relevant knowledge.
Requirements
• Higher technical education;
• At least 10 years of experience in major oil and gas projects involving international companies, mainly in LNG, oil and gas processing industry;
• Experience in LNG industry and Arctic projects is an advantage;
• Electrical Safety Group V;
• Fluent English (ability to prepare written reports and report verbally);
• Mandatory demonstrable experience with gas turbine generators, emergency diesel generators, electrical distribution and consumption systems, PDCS, UPS, variable speed drives, electrical heat tracing and ventilation heating, relay protection systems;
• Mandatory knowledge of international and Russian standards;
• Availability for temporary relocation to Detailed Engineering / LNG Plant Module Fabrication locations;
• Relatively frequent business trips are required;
• Ability to be a team player, analytical capabilities;
• Responsibility and ability to make independent decisions;
• Leadership skills and ability to defend own decisions;
• Focusing on result.
