 General Information:
 Sakhalin Energy Investment Company Ltd. (Sakhalin Energy) is the operator of the Sakhalin-2 project under a Production Sharing Agreement with the Russian Federation. The company was formed in 1994 to develop the Piltun-Astokhskoye oil field and the Lunskoye gas field in the Sea of Okhotsk offshore Sakhalin Island in the Russian Far East.
 Sakhalin Energy is a unique partnership drawing upon global oil and LNG expertise and experience.
 Under the shareholding structure of Sakhalin Energy, Gazprom holds 50% plus 1 share, Shell 27.5%, Mitsui 12.5% and Mitsubishi 10%.
 Location: Research Institute on the mainland with business leaves to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
 Type of position: short-term up to 3 years (pre-FEED, FEED, DED)
 
 Reporting line: Resident Engineering Team Manager, FE Onshore Compression
 
 Dimensions: 0.5 bln USD CAPEX project to be delivered in 2017.
 Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
 - support development of OPF Front End Compression Project design at TA3 level for mechanical and rotating discipline engineering;
 - ensure Project design contractor comply with Company standards (including Shell and International standards), codes and procedures throughout all phases of Project design development;
 - ensure implementation of approved strategies and procedures across all aspects of the project;
 - assist in managing the technical interfaces between the Company, design contractors and vendors;
 - be a focal point in the project team for:
 • Mechanical & Rotating discipline knowledge and advise
 • Mechanical & Rotating discipline governance
 • Technical integrity assurance for mechanical & rotating discipline
 • Prepare technical and status reports for the mechanical/rotating discipline.
 - ensure that Change Control Procedures and relevant Standards are followed for any changes executed;
 - support equipment specification development and revision;
 - check the handover and acceptance documentation, and approve drawings;
 - provide technical support to Supply Chain Management engineers negotiating suppliers on technical issues – verifying part numbers, specifications, properties etc.;
 - identify spare parts and consumables required for reliable operation of the project rotating equipment.
 - ensure his activities are aligned with E&M Mechanical and Rotating Group;
 - follow SEIC corporate Life Saving Rules and encourage the others not to violate these;
 - continuously develop his/her level of knowledge in the field of mechanical and rotating engineering.
 
 Experience and Qualifications required:
 - higher professional education in Mechanical Engineering,
 - 8 years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry;
 - international regulations, codes and standards (certifying bodies, ISO, ASTM, ASME, BS EN, ABS, etc
  ; - design, operating principle and specifications of rotating equipment;
 - typical failure modes and troubleshooting procedures; root cause analysis (RCA) basics (Apollo RCA methodology, etc.);
 - knowledge of mechanical and material science/engineering;
 - rotating equipment installation, adjustment, modification and repair methods;
 - language: fluent in Russian and conversant in oral and written English.
