This position is based in Moscow, Russia with possible relocation overseas Rotating Machine Superintendent will be involved in a major Oil & Gas operator’s project.
Activities:
• Plan, manage, control and deliver the overall piping and mechanical works, storage facilities and installations developments.
• Ensure that all members of his team are aware that safety, quality, good engineering practice, planning and cost must be a permanent concern.
• Maintain good motivation and moral, as well as training level and technical knowledge, within his team.
• Assist or issue in due time all reporting (daily, weekly, monthly, final report …).
• Participates in meeting related to the area of responsibility.
• Manage, supervise and control the Contractor in his area of responsibility
• Follow up and verify documentation produced by the Contractor, especially in engineering and work preparation, and take the required actions if necessary.
• Contribute to development and implement contract strategy/philosophy for related construction activities, in line with the construction schedule.
• Organize activities to ensure that all technical, contractual, planning and cost information are properly recorded, collated and available for inspection/reference as required by laws, regulations, company standards and project requirements.
• Liaise closely and ensure coordination with other Discipline Superintendents and QA/QC Dept, to ensure complete and timely hand-over of CPF work areas to commissioning.
• Anticipate potential technical problems. Analyse and propose corrective actions.
• Define and manage a strategy to minimize shutdowns and all tie-ins and piping interfaces duration in general.
• Manage external parties (Contractor, Vendors, Operation Teams, and other disciplines) to ensure that the piping/mechanical activities are carried out in the safe way within the schedule and budget.
• Liaise with Operations to develop and implement projects in line with current Operation and Maintenance philosophy.
• Provide support / participate to pre-commissioning & commissioning activities related to piping/mechanical part.

• Rotation 4x4
Qualifications and Experience required:
Graduate engineer with minimum 8 years experience in the oil and gas industry.
Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
Fluent Russian is mandatory.
Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
