Requirements:
• Higher education;
• Min 5 years relevant experience in materials control, experience of work on project’s site;
• English language - Upper-Intermediate level;
• Good material knowledge (piping, electrical, instrumentation & mechanical equipment)
• Ability to adapt quickly to work environment
• Readiness to work 6 days a week
Duties:
• Preparation of the receptions with the company’s Shipping status and Client’s Shipping Status : ETA, Packing List and assessment of the work
• Attendance of all meetings that are managed by Client’s Material Team (for the Russian Resource)
• Reception : Perform a preliminary examination and a physical inspection of all the incoming packages unloaded by forklift / crane operators
• Control shipment quantities and material descriptions against the Packing List
• Validation of the shipment quantities
• In case of shortage, overage, damage, immediate notification to Client’s Material Team and the Material Manager
• Filling out of Over, Short and damaged Report and update the OSD status
• Notify the contractor Purchasing Agent or Expeditor, with a copy of the OSD, for further resolution, on the supervision of the Material Manager
• Determine if inspection is required with all the stakeholders (Owner & Contractor), perform inspection and check if material can be used in case of defect
• Implement a method to identify the freight, and the items with permanent marker, stamp weatherproof card, for easy recognition, as material is stored in extreme climate condition
• Fill the receiving register and issue it to the Material Manager on a daily basis
• Follow up all Material in quarantine area and initiate corrective actions in order to comply with Owner expectations
• Has to ensure that the Material will be on custody according the appropriate storage code
• Attendance at the Owner Quality Control Inspection and preparation of the Non Compliance Report supervised by the Material Manager
•Collect the Incoming Control Report
• Provide technical assistance to identify properly the incoming Material (International resource), and train the team if necessary
• Check that all safety conditions are required according to company’s Safety rules
• Prepare a weekly report to the Material Manager
