. Basic Functions and Scope:
The equipment engineer will be responsible for supervising the work conducted by the detailed design subcontractor related to equipment section, implement the job assigned by the department supervisor, report to the supervisor regarding the progress, the problems arose during the performance of the project.
. Tasks and Duties:
• Familiarize the FEED and main contract related to equipment section;
• Supervise the sub-contractor to perform the detailed engineering strictly as per FEED and main contract requirements;
• Check/Review relevant drawings/documents related to equipment based on FEED and main contract;
• Closely monitor and coordinate with the project procurement department to expedite relevant vendors to reply in time corresponding queries raised by the subcontractor of the detailed engineering;
• Closely monitor and coordinate with the subcontractor of the detailed engineering to reply in time the relevant questions raised by relevant vendors and incorporate the vendor’s information into relevant Issued For Construction (IFC) drawings;
• Assist the electrical & instrument supervisor of the engineering department to remind/expedite the Owner to reply in time the queries raised by the subcontractor of the detailed engineering, or remind/expedite the Owner to return in time the drawings/documents which are submitted to the Owner for approval;
• Remind/expedite the subcontractor to submit the IFC drawings as per the project schedule;
• Remind/expedite the subcontractor to submit relevant Pre-commissioning/ Commissioning Manual, Operation Manual, Maintenance Manual, Training Manual, etc. as per the main contract requirement in time;
• Remind/expedite the subcontractor to submit the as built drawings/ documents as per the project schedule;
• Ask the subcontractor to arrange relevant equipment engineers to go to the job site to provide technical support to the construction and commissioning work.
Required Skills / Certificates
• Abundant experience of similar position working at the Engineering Institute related to Oil and gas, petro-chemical industries;
• The person who had the experience working with a western engineering company and familiarize API standards and codes or working overseas before should be preferred;
• Capability to accept responsibilities and accomplish project objectives in a timely manner.
Requirements:
• Must have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering Institute;
• At least 6 years relevant post graduate experience on similar role on Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, EPC, engineering projects;
• Must have a sound knowledge of computer software;
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in written, possessing consultative and sound influencing nature and an excellent team player.
Salary starting from 150 000 rubles nett per month.
