A large international company is looking for professionals to one of the biggest oil & gas project in Russia and invites candidates for [b]Offshore Construction Engineer[/b] position.
[b]Job requirements:[/b]
▪ Higher professional education in civil or mechanical engineering
▪ 10+ years in the oil and gas industry construction experience including 5+ years offshore experience in the onsite management of construction team including safety management aspects and coordination with project engineering and designer
▪ Knowledge of resolutions, instructions and orders of superior authorities
▪ Methodological, regulatory and guiding materials on operative production management
▪ Structure and staff of the Company, its profile, specialisation and prospects of further development
▪ Purpose, composition, design and principles of operation as well as specifications and the relevant process engineering
▪ Fundamentals of economics, organisation of production, labour and management
▪ Technical and economic, operational and production planning
▪ Rules and norms of health and labour safety, industrial sanitation and fire protection
▪ Experience on construction projects covering design, construction and commissioning phases of gas and oil assets
▪ Good written and spoken English
▪ Ready to relocate
[b]Accountabilities: [/b]
▪ Direct Reporting to: Offshore Construction Manager
▪ Acts as a Company onshore construction interface and coordinator between offshore platform construction site team and designer, stakeholders, project engineering and fabricators
▪ Assists the Offshore Construction Manager with delivery of Project design, constructability, fabrication, planning, installation and handover in accordance with executed contracts and business targets per the Company HSES policies and procedures and work instructions
▪ Provide 1-st line response management for all HSES incidents and emergencies at responsible construction site and perform a leading role where possible in incident investigations, reporting and cross learning
▪ Ensure that the construction contractors construct the facilities safely in accordance with the Design specifications, on time, within budget, with due regard to environment, health and safety of personnel
▪ Participate and provide construction expertise in constructability reviews with General Designer and Contractor to minimize schedule and avoidance of cost
▪ Develop shutdown risk registers, plans and actively participate in company shutdown meetings and act as Construction focal point for asset assigned. Manage shutdown activities and reporting
▪ Manage all company assigned staff and their professional development on site. Ensure adequate and timely training
▪ Manage directly or through the QA/QC Coordinator (if available) and third party inspection (on call-off basis) –all site construction QA/QC matters in accordance with the QA manual and risk register, focused on critical risks and exposure
▪ Manage the construction schedule with special attention to the site critical activities on the project target dates.
▪ Participate in audit exercises to assess construction work compliance with quality, HSE and other contractual requirement
▪ Monitor as built drawings and Russian documentation for completeness and accuracy
