This position is based in Russia/Korea/China/Philippines The Interface Engineer will be involved in a major Oil & Gas operator’s project.
Activities:
• Provide support to all disciplines of construction by coordinating the interfaces and technical dependencies
• Read and understand plans and specifications.
• Examine/inspect conditions and identify mismatches/discrepancy/problems/inaccuracies and investigate drawings for construction purposes
• Ensure that Company's reference standards are understood and applied (directives, rules, and specifications).
• Ensure optimisation of construction in terms of costs, quality and delays related to the project expected achievements.
• Read and understand project’s contract documents, drawings, specifications and scope of work
• Prepare submittals (modules, materials, vendors)
• Write requisitions and purchase orders following up with suppliers to expedite deliveries
• Monitor receiving, warehousing functions and material control
• Assist disciplined superintendent with the construction work packages
• Receive and inspect incoming components, plant equipment and documentation
• Spend quality time in the yard on a daily basis
• Call for and participate to any necessary technical and/or co-ordination meetings required to achieve the performance of the work.
• Provide support to commissioning activities
• Provide to the Yard Manager, all relevant information needed for Construction reporting, highlight critical problems and propose corrective actions.

Qualifications and Experience required:
Graduate specialist with minimum 7 years experience in the oil and gas industries.
At least 4 years experience on Construction Projects
Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
Russian language will be a plus
Yard experience will be a plus
Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
