We work with a reputable KZ-EU joint venture Exploration & Production company, one of the largest independent O&G companies in Kazakhstan. Head offices are based in Western Kazakhstan and they are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Head of Legal Department.
As a Head of Legal Department you will be fully responsible to drive it forward within the extensively growing business. The business will be looking to open new offices across KZ and this role will have exceptional career progression opportunities.
The role reports into the General Director locally and indirectly to General Council in Central Europe.
The company needs a highly qualified, ambitious, experienced leader with extensive experience to take over the legal department.
I am looking to arrange interviews with the client next week, 24th to 28th of March. Please apply as soon as possible.
Main Prerequisites:
8+ years of experience in the industry.
Ideal candidate should possess a relevant degree.
Be fluent in Russian and English, both written and oral.
Be knowledgeable of the RoK laws and regulations.
International experience would be advantageous.
Have excellent administrative and Communications skills
Experience with the Oil and Gas companies will be advantageous alternatively a big law firm.
Strong writing and editorial skills.
Strong communications, leadership and team-building skills.
Work schedule and Benefits:
Highly competitive salary level.
Preferably on residential basis out of Western Kazakhstan. Rotation might be possible.
Additional holiday days are provided by the company.
Flights to and from the mobilisation point are paid for (if on rotation).
