Large International Oil&Gas Company(one of the top in the world) is looking for Senior Planner / Scheduler, Moscow
Functions:
• Issue and Supervise the “Project General Planning” development and execution. Preferred format will be MS Project
• Verify the correct integration of the Site Subcontractors execution programs into the Project General Planning.
• Validate the system used by the Contractor to evaluate the Project physical progress through the combination of physical quantifiable quantities supplied and/or installed as well as delivered drawings, plus charts with progress key dates (milestones), weighted values for each task / activity and amounts to be paid.
• Evaluate the regular progress and trends reports and analyze the planned / actual progress curves, histograms, tables, status reports, bar charts and computerized lists presented by the Contractor about the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Start up works, issuing the corresponding report to the Project Manager.
• Supervise monthly the compliance with the Project detail schedules, foreseeing areas with problems and detecting deviations. Issue the reports to the Project Manager, recommending actions to avoid or correct delays.
• Promote the implementation of actions by the Contractor in order to avoid delays in the Project General Planning and analyze and authorize, if proceeds, the speeding-up programs proposed by the Contractor to make up for the delays.
• Assess the impact of the Design Changes on the Project Planning
• Assess the impact of the Contract Changes on the Project Planning.
• Evaluate the Project resources allocated by the EC in the different Project phases.
Candidate Requirements:
• Minimum Education: B.Sc. Surface facilities engineering.
• Solid background in scheduling, planning and risk mitigation analysis.
• At least 5 years relevant oil industry experience (at least part of experience to be with an operator is a must).
• Knowledge and experience in cost estimation is welcomed.
• Experience in both oil and gas fields is preferred.
• Candidate should be familiar with MS Project and project management software.
• Previous experience of working assets in Russia.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
