Job responsibilities:
HSE
- Drive excellence in HSES and drilling well servicing performance
- Implementation of appropriate hazards and effects identification and management (HEMP) in the all phase of the well delivery process
- Verify compliance with operational and HSE policies and standards, legislation and statutory requirements
- Verify that all Contractors adhere to and are fully aware of company well control policy and procedures.
- Generate and maintain of the well engineering risk register and representation of risk mitigation / impact in cost and schedule analysis
Management
- Manage well engineering team offshore and at the office
- Safeguard the Company’s assets and interests (e.g. platform, wells, materials and equipment)
- Implement processes and controls for all Well Engineering activities
- Supervise the drilling contractor
- Manage interfaces with Asset Managers, Contractors, other company Departments
- Developing Russian staff
Planning
- Support, Guide and Supervise the preparation of all detailed drilling
- Ensure integrity of cost/time estimates and tracking of well costs during the design phase through to spud and completion.
Execution
- Manage the execution of the well work programs in accordance with agreed objectives, statutory regulations and company policies.
- Manage all aspects of rig operation primarily the day-to-day HSE, well operations, maintenance of rig
- Monitor costs on a daily basis, ensure that the most cost effective techniques and equipment are made used.
Experience and Qualifications required:
- Higher professional education in Engineering
- Additional training in Drilling, Completions and Well Services Operations
- Proven Leadership skills
- Russian Federation Safety Rules and Regulations for Oil and Gas Industry
- Russian Federation Labor Protection Regulations
- Applicable Company Emergency Procedures
- Well Engineering Operations, Completions Engineering and Well Services
- Contracts and Procurement and Commercial Negotiations
- Motivating people and team building, motivation, coaching and development
- Project Management
- Leading business performance, maximizing business opportunities
- External focus and Stakeholder engagement
