Due to the expansion of Halliburton Sperry Drilling’s rotary steerable tools in the Russian Federation we are now looking to recruit Electrical/Mechanical Technicians for our Nizhnevartovsk facility.

The successful candidates will join our highly skilled existing team and undergo intensive training both in Nizhnevartovsk and overseas in other facilities. The ability to work and communicate as part of a team is essential.

Our Technicians perform disassembly and assembly of downhole tools and electrical and mechanical maintenance, tests and qualification of the Geopilot rotary steerable tools.

Working in an industry such as Aircraft, Gas Turbine, Military Equipment or Naval maintenance industries you will have a minimum of 3 years experience after having been time served or Technical College Diploma educated. The successful Candidate will be able to perform traditional manual skills such as soldering in addition to the latest computer based diagnostics. You will also have a high focus on Health and Safety in line with corporate values and policy. The ability to communicate in English is essential. An international passport will also be required. Candidates must be willing to travel and work as part of a team in this demanding industry.

A rotational schedule of 35days on/off will be available in addition to live in positions in Nizhnevartovsk.
