This position is based in Moscow, Russia. GAS Export Pipeline Project Engineer will be involved in a major Oil & Gas operator’s project.
Activities:
• To be the main focal point for Engineering, Procurement and Construction for GEP related technical issues. He liaises with the relevant specialists whenever required.
• To ensure and promote the use of company safety and environment rules and specifications.
• To ensure that HSE rules are respected by setting an example and reporting any infractions.
• To identify clearly the scope of work outstanding after termination of previous EPSCC contract.
• To identify clearly the status of company provided items.
• To anticipate potential problems with engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and commissioning.
• Track and report on engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction progress and ensure that the progress is in line with planning.
• To propose mitigation measures in case of schedule slippage during the whole Project phase.
• To review contractor’s mobilization plan and construction schedule. And to advise contractor about optimization of resources and efficiency to meet planning milestones and deadlines.
• To review and make sure that all relevant procedures, method statements and etc. are ready for work execution.
• To participate in regular progress and coordination meetings.
• Ensure, coordinate and follow-up field engineering feed-back during GEP scope completion.
• Ensures proper preparation of GEP as-built documentation and proper hand-over to operations teams.
• Participate to site/Contractor(s) visits as necessary.
• To provide support to the Construction Team in carrying out works on site.
• To provide support to Project Control in terms of fabrication and construction reporting, progress confirmation, preparation of COI and review of COR related to construction.
• To carry out any other duties or tasks that may be assigned by his hierarchical superiors.
• To establish and maintain effective working relations with relevant contractors to ensure company objectives are met.

Qualifications and Experience required:
Graduate engineer with minimum 5 years experience in engineering and construction works( oil and gas industry)
Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
Fluent Russian is mandatory.
Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
