International Oil and Gas Company is looking for REGULATORY AFFAIRS LABOR SAFETY & ER SPECIALIST!
The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience with leading major oil transportation capital project activities and with implementing an Incident and Injury Free culture.
Key functions include:
Responsible to liaise with CPC Regulatory Affairs and local regulatory agencies
Ensure compliance with and coordinate obtaining any required federal and regional consents, approvals, permits or licenses required by CPC, Russian Federation, or Republic of Kazakhstan
Assist contractors with obtaining permits, licenses
Support Project HSE Regulatory Affairs Team Lead and Project Government Liaison in addressing any issues or concerns related to safety, fire safety, and emergency response matters
Responsible to identify safety, fire safety, and emergency response regulatory issues for RF and R of K
Recommend and implement corrective actions such as conducting or coordinating required trainings, developing scope of work and obtaining contracts for support services, conducting inspections, etc
Responsible to provide key personnel on project team with consultation regarding issues within the region and areas of work
Compliance with Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) ensuring all interactions with governmental officials are compliant with FCPA requirements
Operational Excellence
Maintain an open door communication rapport with Team
Promote a professional atmosphere
Establish team building rapport with internal and external recipients to ascertain a successful working relationship
Job Qualifications:
Min ten (10) years previous oil and gas project works in RF and/or R of K
Must have demonstrated experience in R of K Regulatory requirements
Must have a methodical and well organized approach to the work environment
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to interface with colleagues at all levels
Must have experience with working in an integrated team environment
Must be able to deal with short time frames and handle multiple competing priorities
Proactive thinker
Must be able to conceptualize processes and systems to meet project needs and effectively implement same
Be able to receive constructive criticism for professional growth
English fluency preferred
Must be able to travel internationally
