Large and gas company is looking for Quality Control Specialist.
Purpose of job:
Provide support to the Drilling Operations, Engineering and Procurement Groups to ensure quality requirements for critical materials and services are achieved.
Main duties:
• Lead by example by demonstrating a strong, active committment toward company safety policies.
• Attend team, pre-job, and post job meetings and de-briefings with drill team, contractors, and sub-contractors as required.
• Provide necessary field observation and intervation through a comprehensive QA\QC auditing planto insure compliance to company procedures and standards.
• Ensure contract specifications and industry standards are recognized and complied with as related to goods and services recieved, returned, and maintained and\or stored on rig location.
• Ensure equipment delivered to and from location is properly packaged and protected.
• Ensure all goods found to be reject or non-conforming are identified and documented as such, and then segregated separately from conforming product until final disposition is realized.
• Work closely with contractors and subcontractors to facilitate disposition , and when possible timely repairs of quarantined goods(i.e. such as damaged or out of spec casing, tubing, drill pipe, or running equipment, etc.)
• Implement Quality Plan and inspection procedures for all quality/ procurement and related processes such as service, maintenance, and receiving inspections, repair of damaged goods, follow up, etc.
• Conduct investigations on failed equipment or services identified through deficiency reports and document the development of corrective solutions from a diagnostic approach.
• Provide direct administration and supervision of assembly and/or inspection of equipment and execution of services related to onshore activities.
• Perform special projects as directed
• Other duties as required and determined by management in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
• Employee is responsible for conscientious performance of his/her duties in accordance with Russian Labor Code.
Education:
Must have a diploma or higher education (Engineering degree is a plus)
Specific skills required:
English speaking and writing skills.
Be available for occasional travel.
Possess a valid Russian driving license.
Computer literacy in MS Word, Exel.
Relevant work experience:
Experienced in related work/ heavy equipment preferred
Previous internal auditing experience preferred
Oil field experience preferred
Location:
Rig Site, either Yastreb Rig(onshore) or Orlan Rig(offshore)
