The Company:
Our client is a major international Oil & Gas exploration and production company, operating around the globe.
The Role:
The job holder manages, under the responsibility of the Package Manager, all technical activities related to Mechanical & Piping during Basic & Detailed engineering phases, with particular attention paid to HSE matters. The job holder is the main interlocutor of Engineering and LLI’s Contractor(s) for Mechanical & Piping technical issues. He liaises with the relevant specialists whenever required.
During the project, the Job Holder has to:
• Review and digest the pre-project studies. Verify the basis of design, and digest the detail design.
• Participate to the endorsement of the Pre-project dossier by the FEED contractor and detail design documentation and drawings by Contractor. Verify the deliverables related to Mechanical & Piping
• Coordinate and supervise Mechanical & Piping studies for the Well surface facilities Pads.
• Check that the design is developed in line with the Pre-Project and the Statement of Requirements
• Ensure coordination of Mechanical & Piping activities with the other Specialists within the project team. Ensure global consistency of the design
• Follow-up Contractor(s) activities. Control and comment all Mechanical & Piping documentation issued by contractor(s) related to engineering, procurement, project management, fabrication and tests.
• Ensure all piping deliverables are following scope of work and design requirements. Provide detailed design mark-up documents when necessary.
• Call for and participate to necessary technical and/or co-ordination meetings required to achieve the performance of the work. Participate to internal and external interface meetings
• Participate to Technical Reviews/Audits (HAZID, HAZOP, PTR).
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Eligibility to work in the RUSSIAN FEDERATION.
Graduate educated engineer with minimum 10 years experience in the oil industry as Mechanical & Piping engineer (upstream).
Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
Russian is a MUST.
Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment
Knowledge of General Specifications is a plus.
Experimented user for Autocad and knowledge for 3 D model software.
