Large oil and Gas Company is looking for Inspection Advisor!

MAIN FUNCTIONS
· Promote safety within area of specialty
· Coordinate and oversee activities of 3rd party and/or Contractor source inspectors
· Perform surveillance activities, quality inspection activities in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs)
· Oversight for the development and implemented of Contractor’s Preservation Program
· Keep a scheduled of required vendor maintenance for each piece of equipment, schedule vendor maintenance as appropriate and ensure that records of vendor maintenance are recorded and documented
· Maintain a listing of specialty tools that are needed to maintain and service the equipment; insure that these tools are on site or inform management what tools need to be purchased to maintain the equipment
· Witness acceptance tests and perform final quality check prior to acceptance of equipment and materials, as appropriate
· Understand and enforce the Preservation Specification
· Manage interfaces and coordination between Suppliers, Contractors, Quality Supervision and other Project Team disciplines (e.g. Engineering, Construction)
· Lead development and execution of detailed oversight program for high criticality activities or critical equipment inspections.
· Keep Quality supervision updated with status of quality issues
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Review the site infrastructure and communicate needed improvements to ensure equipment on site can be preserved
· Review project documentation requirements and ensure that maintenance and preservation records are maintained
· Ensure that maintenance is being performed according to equipment vendor recommendations
· Perform periodic inspection of preserved materials and equipment to verify that preservation is performing as expected and take measured action when preservation measures are failing.
· Review lessons learned from previous projects in the area to better understand preservation and logistics requirements
· Interface with Regulatory personnel regarding preservation records and maintenance requirements
· Participate in turnover from Mechanical Completions to Systems Completion
