Big oil and gas company is looking for an Area Sales Manager!
The Employee performs the following responsibilities:
• Has daily contact with customers to promote, consult, and negotiate the sale and delivery of appropriately applied equipment. Has regular contact with sales, customer support, service, and channel partner personnel to coordinate projects.
• Promote Measurement Solutions Products to Company's internal customer base with the objective of increasing market share for both new product sales and for service of installed base. Capable of calling on all levels of decision makers including engineering, operations, procurement, and field technicians.
• To understand, develop, and maintain customer relationships as they relate to the products and services provided.
• Arrange, conduct, and participate in customer training and other events as needed or requested to further market Measurement Solutions product lines and services throughout Company.
• Work cooperatively with product responsible engineer, R&D, support and project engineering to communicate and enhance business intelligence regarding product enhancements, pricing strategies, promotional plans, etc.
• Develop and implement short term and long range direct and target account plans with the objective being to identify, develop and maintain key customer relationships to expand market share and presence and to meet / exceed quota assignments for internal customer base.
• Continuous planning, forecasting and documentation of your projects are part of your daily business.
• Coordinate appropriate technical interface between customers and all departments and management levels of the Company.
Requirements:
Fluency in English
• Basic understanding of metering technology and/or fluid control systems, regarding hardware and software aspects.
• Must possess excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license is appreciated
• Must be willing to travel extensively.
• Computer literate.
• Proven record of success selling technical solutions, systems and products.
• Technical aptitude
• Business Savvy
• Customer centric work ethic
• Self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision
• Decision making capabilities
• Trustworthy
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team
• Capable of understanding and working under corporate guidelines and procedures
