We are the partner of major players in the oil and gas industry and energy sector. Anotech ENERGY is a subsidiary that belongs to Alten S.A which is a French Engineering consulting group that counts over 15 000 employees in 18 countries.
This position is based in Russia. The Drilling Well Site Supervisor will be involved in a major Oil & Gas operator’s project.
Activities:
• Mobilisation and de-mobilisation of drilling contractors
o Participate in planning and execution of mob/de-mob of drilling contractors
• Cargo transportation
o Coordinate cargo deliveries between the base and the drilling sites, including contractors’ materials and equipment
o Coordinate cargo deliveries between the base town and nearby towns if needed
o Coordinate cargo deliveries by all contracted transport – helicopters, trucks or all-terrain/amphibious vehicles
o Ensure safe and cost-efficient use of transport, avoid over-spending due to poor planning
o Search the local market for new/alternative providers as well as providers for non-standard transportation means like heavy amphibious vehicles
• Personnel transportation
o Coordinate use of light vehicles for personnel transportation between the nearby towns and airports, the base and the drilling sites
o Ensure safe passenger transportation operations in strict compliance with the company policies
o Coordinate crew-changes by helicopters; deal with helicopter operators on site, resolve any arising issues
o Align company crew-change plans with those of the contractors in order to optimize use of transport
o Ensure accommodation is available in base town for incoming personnel
• Lifting equipment
o Source and hire lifting equipment and slingers under existing contracts or new providers
o Ensure the cranes, forklifts and personnel are available at the base and the drilling site at the time of loading/unloading
o Ensure such operations are done in a safe manner
• Materials control
o Carry out control of the materials and equipment received, stored and dispatched at the base in town and at each of the drilling sites
o Keep hard and soft records of stock, material receipt and issue up to date and in perfect order
o Coordinate work of the rented warehouse and its personnel
o Ensure proper packing and marking when moving materials
• Project supplies
o Sourcing of local providers for various supplies and services for the rig, related to supply of water, fuel, camp maintenance and similar
o Purchase of minor supplies for the project
• Other duties
o Review the invoices for logistics and transportation services and ensure the actually provided services correspond with the charged amounts
Context and environment:
• Rotation 28d/28d
Qualifications and Experience required:
Graduate engineer with minimum 10 years experience in the oil and gas industry.
Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
Fluent Russian is mandatory.
Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
