Aim: To provide technical expertise and plan/perform logging operations.
Location of Work: Primarily a field-based role.
Job Duties:
Act as liaison between company and customer.
Attend pre-job meetings and prepare equipment related to customer requirements.
Plan and perform rig site operations and troubleshoot field problems.
Ensure required equipment is on-site and fully functional.
Ensure logging data is recorded, prepared, checked, certified and filed to conform with company policies and customer requirements.
Ensure company QA policy and recommended operating procedures are followed and adhered to in operation of all company equipment.
Carry out all work in a safe manner and in accordance with company and client policy and national legislation.
Assist in function testing, assembly and preparation of equipment.
Prepare final reports and attend post-job meetings as necessary.
Process data and assist in onshore operational matters, as required.
Assist in training of new staff where appropriate.
Perform other relevant duties as requested/required by management.
Computer Skills and Software used:
Windows operating system.
MS Office.
Company-specific software.
Employee Requirements
Education and Training:
Educated to undergraduate level or above in Science/Engineering discipline or equivalent, or relevant oilfield experience.
Skills and Aptitudes:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to work to deadlines.
Ability to comprehend technical concepts.
Aptitude for learning new and advancing technology.
Ability to adapt and cope with changing circumstances and schedules.
Ability to work under pressure and cope with harsh environmental conditions.
English - Intermediate level.
Work schedule: month/month.
