A large international company is looking for professionals to one of the biggest oil & gas project in Russia and invites candidates for [b]Estimator[/b] (Senior) position.
[b]Job requirements: [/b]
▪ Higher education with engineering background
▪ 8+ years of experience under specialty
▪ Knowledge of resolutions, instructions and orders of superior authorities; methodological, regulatory and guiding materials on operative production management; structure and staff of the Company, its profile, specialisation and prospects of further development
▪ Knowledge of purpose, composition, design and principles of operation as well as specifications and the relevant process engineering; fundamentals of economics, organisation of production, labour and management; technical and economic, operational and production planning; rules and norms of health and labour safety, industrial sanitation and fire protection
▪ English language (oral & written)
▪ PC literate (Microsoft Office software)
▪ Ready to relocate
[b]Accountabilities: [/b]
▪ To provide all aspects of estimating support to the AP (Asset Projects) project team and ensuring that estimating systems, procedures and work practices are maintained
▪ To develop and document project cost estimates in accordance with AP processes using appropriate tools, guidelines and the approved project estimating norms
▪ Develop and issue to relevant parties for approval / comment the Basis of Estimate for each project or proposal cost estimate to be developed
▪ Develop and maintain project and proposal cost estimates in accordance with the Basis of Estimate, including statements of work scope, man-hour estimates, narratives, and review/comment on client documents
▪ Participate in internal project cost estimate reviews and operations & cost reviews, coordinate comments and obtain estimate sign-off approval from relevant parties
▪ Deliver presentations of reviewed estimates to Lead Estimator for approval
▪ Produce and issue updates to project / proposal cost estimates in a controlled manner
▪ Liaise with project cost control and planning to ensure project budgets are developed to reflect the structure and content of the approved project cost estimate
▪ Liaise with proposals, engineering, procurement, subcontract and construction functions, HR, finance and others functions as required, to maintain awareness of the requirements and costs of labour, plant and equipment, materials, subcontracts, offices, IT, and other provisions, to ensure these are accurately reflected in the project / proposal cost estimate
▪ Participate in Project Audits for the Estimating function
