Job Title: Sr. Geophysicist/Geophysicist
Location: Iraq
Assignment Type: Rotational
Type: Contract
Experience: 5+ years
Job description
The main job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Production Logging
• Expert examination and preparation of technical part of the tenders and contracts on production logging; supervision of contract implementation and results;
• Well Logging programs preparation and supervision;
• Log data acquisition;
• Coordination of the on- line data processing and interpretation, comments and final results, quality control of the original data;
• Analyze data to determine solutions to moderately complex logging issues;
• Preparation of all final well reports;
• LWD and mud logging;
• Demonstrate familiarity with LWD, Mud logging, Wireline logging procedures and documentation;
• Coordinating and overseeing contractor on rig sites working close with our company on-site well logging engineers;
• Preparation and submission of all required reports and data promptly, properly and accurately;
• Complies with all government, industry and company regulations and standards
Requirements
The most essential Requirements are as follows:
• 5-7 years' experience in petrophysics, logging operations, log data acquisition, quality control, contract management
• Minimum three (3) years' experience in logging in open hole.
• Two (2) years' experience in logging deviated and sub-horizontal wells.
• Knowlegde of software: Paradigm Geolog, Techlog
• 7 years' experience in petrophysics, logging operations, log data acquisition, quality control, contract management
• Minimum three (3) years' experience in logging in open hole.
• Two (2) years' experience in logging deviated and sub-horizontal wells.
• Knowlegde of software: Paradigm Geolog, Techlog
• Fluent in English
