Day Company Man

My client is an International E&P company who is currently looking for an experienced Senior Drilling Supervisor & Sr Drilling Superintendent to join them and supervise drilling operations carried out on the field.

My client has 6 x 2000 hp drilling rigs operating in the area.
Wells of up to 5000+m, H2S, vertical and deviated wells, Multilayer Reservoir with High Pressure environment in some layers.

Contract on a dayrate, 28/28 OR 14/14 rotation. Initial contract for 1 year with an option to extend.
Business class flights, accommodation provided, job is based out of Western Kazakhstan.
The entire management team consists of expats from Europe and Russia, so we need some who is proficient in both English and Russian languages.

Length: It is a 3-4 year drilling programme.
2013 planned drilling programme:
In 2013 of 14 to 16 wells comprising 7-9 appraisal wells, 1 exploration well and 5-7 production wells. The field currently has 14 oil wells and 12 gas condensate wells in operation.

Minimum requirements:

15+ years of industry experience
BS Petroleum Engineering or equivalent
Current certificate in BOP and Well Control.
Language: Russian and English is a must.
Eligibility to work in Kazakhstan on rotational basis.

Work experience:

Experience in drilling deep wells (>4500 m).
Having both operating and drilling companies background.
In-depth knowledge and experience with heavy top drive drilling rigs.
Have skill and expertise in vertical and deviated drilling including horizontal wells.
Experience in drilling in H2S reservoirs.
