 Function 
 • The job holder, under the responsibility of the Lead Contract Engineer, is in charge of contract preparation and administration from tenderers pre-qualification to close-out. 
 • Responsible for preparation of pre-qualification packages, tender packages, contracts and purchase orders for management approval in standard terms and conditions format and layout 
 • Responsible for contract administration from pre-qualification to close-out 
 During the project, the Job Holder has to: 
 • Prepare pre-qualification packages 
 • Participate in pre-tender meetings 
 • Prepare and issue call for tender packages 
 • Reply to tenderers’ queries 
 • Prepare supplementary letters to the invitation to tender as necessary 
 • Co-ordinate bid evaluations and participate in clarification/negotiation meetings 
 • Prepare Recommendation to award 
 • Support project management to obtain internal and external approvals for award recommendations 
 • Prepare and issue Contracts and Purchase orders for signature 
 • Establish contract administration procedure / register 
 • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of contract administration 
 • Review of contractors and suppliers correspondence with respect to contractual impact. Prepare recommended responses 
 • Provide close monitoring of construction activities of awarded contracts with reference to areas of potential claims 
 • Evaluate change orders, claims and propose recommended answers to the contractors/suppliers 
 • Provide support to the project team on contractual matters 
 • Participate in auditing process as deemed necessary in collaboration with finance department 
 • Participate as required, in weekly and monthly progress meetings 
 • Monitor and report contract progress. Provide, to the Project Services Manager, all relevant information needed for Project reporting 
 • Anticipate potential problems of interfaces. Analyse and propose corrective actions 
 • Complete other responsibilities associated with his position as may be required, such as facilitate meetings chaired by non-Russian speakers 
 • Process, draft & archive Contractual documentation as per the Company rules and softwares (SAP) 
 Requirements 
 • Engineering degree with sound knowledge of the contractual/commercial environment in the E&P industry. 
 • Minimum of 10+ years of effective experience in E&P contract administration, inclusive of pricing, technical scoping, drafting, administrating, negotiating. SAP systems and Construction/site experience will be appreciated. 
 • Comprehensive knowledge of the principles governing all terms and conditions of contracts, Company contracts policies, and the Company industry as a whole 
 • Formal presentation skills / Excellent written and oral communication skills / Able to work in a multicultural environment. Autonomous and problem solving oriented mind. 
 • Capable of independently negotiating complex contractual issues / Able to influence and persuade 
 • Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
