Position title: Senior Planner
Company-employer: dynamic leading international service company
Current project: Sakhalin I
Location: Sakhalin island
Working Hours: 7/3 Rotation
Working language: English
Accountability: Accountable for producing and delivering quality planning deliverables and reporting in a timely manner. Ensuring plans and programmes are fully developed and tracked.
Principal Responsibilities
Ensures that all activities (Onshore/Offshore Modifications, Onshore infrastructure projects and others) have a baseline plan, are appropriately progressed, tracked and reported to internal and external customers in accordance with established company procedures from inception and budget estimating through to completion.
Facilitates agreement from multiple departments on milestone dates, and tracks/reports milestone achievements.
Requirement to interface daily with both project teams and Client reps and integrate plans into overall Client Project plans. Key tasks will be liaison with project engineers to ensure all elements of plans reflect the scope of work, project drivers and the resource planning can be forecast and met.
Actively willing to train and encourage the development of Russian National members of the project controls team.
Interpersonal Skills:
Good communicator to internal and external customers, needs to work with others within a small team Good oral and written communication (English)
Must be able to take ownership of process and be prepared to drive issues through to a conclusion.
Pro-active Team player
Good influencing and persuasion skills
Competencies:
Ability to analyse and problem solve
Manages and plans own workloads
Business & Industry Experience:
8 - 10 years previous relevant experience
Experience in oil & gas industry, preferably in a multi project environment.
