Responsibilities:
• Carries out quality control of geophysical well logging data (GIS).
• Performs operational analysis and interpretation of logging data, core and production data, as well as participates in the preparation of data for updating the geological models.
• Organizes geological and geophysical works in oil and gas wells assigned to the Company using the achievements of science and technology, the most modern and effective methods to address the geological and technological challenges.
• Supervises the preparation of contractor equipment to carry out geophysical surveys.
• Supervises the work of contractors to implement a complex of geophysical researches and works in the wells, the creation of petrophysical model, processing and interpretation of data.
• Organizes and participates in the quality control of geological - geophysical works and acceptance of primary field data in accordance with the regulations.
• Prepares and coordinates requests for geophysical researches in the wells with other structural subdivisions of the Company.
• Performs operative loading the received field data into specialized software and prepare an opinion on their quality.
• Prepares and sends the loaded data into a corporate database.
• Supervises the development of design estimates for the production of GIS and spends her tested for compliance with current regulatory - technical documentation on the geological - geophysical works.
• Develops and provides suggestions for the using the most modern methods and techniques of GIS for geological problems.
• Controls and interacts with the performer of geophysical work (contractor), from the stage of drafting, preparation and completion of the work to date and geophysical data processing and to the funds of the Company.
• Supervises the preparation and transfer of the resulting geological and geophysical data on the results of operations in accordance with the requirements of geological targets and other regulatory documents.
Requirements:
• Knowledge of the equipment and technology of the geophysical studies of wells.
• Knowledge of traditional and alternative methods of data interpretation.
• Requirements for the quality and volume of geophysical data, the rules of its storage and processing.
• Have experience in data processing and interpretation of GIS, core and field data in modern software products.
• Must have the skills to:
• - organization of production and quality control of geological - geophysical and seismic surveys, practical work with planning programs and quality control of field work;
- To be able to process and interpret the data in specialized software (preferably Techlog);
- To be able to process and interpret the data core studies, including data received by using capillarimetric method, and relative permeability;
- Experienced PC user (Microsoft Office; Word; Excel; PowerPoint; CorelDraw).
