Responsibilities:
• Participates in planning of current, annual and long-term exploration workы on the fields.
Participates in defending targets, monitors performance targets.
• Carries out geological control of well construction.
• Participates in development of geological and technical projects for exploration of mineral resources.
• Participates together with the relevant departments of the Company in the preparation of Annual Work Program on deposits, agrees and oversees its implementation.
• Supervises preparation of geological and statistical reporting, is involved in drafting of the annual report on the results of exploration works in the licensed areas and fields of the Company.
• Participates in matters related to the liquidation, conservation, return the wells to other horizons, design of mining leases, etc.
• Takes part in the timely preparation of accounting documents and receiving payments under contracts supervised by Geology Department.
• Organizes and participates in tenders for the execution of research and thematic works and monitors contracts execution.
• Provides control of timely execution of orders issued by regulatory authorities, as well as orders, letters and other documents received by Geology Department.
• Provides technical policy in the field of exploration, to meet the requirements of industrial safety and labor protection.
• Coordinates the relationship with contractors regarding industrial health and safety in areas of field of activities.
Requirements:
• Higher technical education with specialization in Geology / Exploration of oil and gas exploration.
• Experience in this area for at least 5 years.
• Must know:
- geology of major Russian oil and gas provinces and hydrocarbon deposits, geology and stratigraphy of the regions representing the business interests of the Company;
- well construction (drilling and testing process) and surface facilities;
- geological surveying, the order of liquidation and conservation of wells;
- procedure for tendering and contracting with contractors;
- bases of technology, organization of production, the conditions of safe operations.
