Tasks:
- Setting up of the Project Group during the initial projects phase.
- Coordination for specific aspect regarding engineering, procurements, construction, commissioning (as applicable).
- Review of the contract, the tender and bid documents.
- Maintain close links with the partners of a consortium or joint venture.
- Coordination for development and the revision of the Project Execution Plan, monitoring the progress of the project phases, in accordance with time, cost and quality estimates and objectives.
- Assist Project Manager in relationship with the Client.
- Interface Management with the consortium or joint venture partners.
- Interface Management with the local Group companies involved in the project.
- Controls that the level of performance is in accordance with the Contract specifications, that the costs fall within the estimate limits, and that the execution time of the project phases progresses as set down in the contract.
- Makes the critical revision of the contract.
- Assists in the preparation, implementation, and updating of the project Quality Plan and ensures that all project members are familiar with its contents.
Qualification & Experience Required:
- Russian national with 10 to 15 years of experience in the shipbuilding industry, capable of representing the project in the premises of a Russian shipbuilding yard that is going to provide a technical and commercial proposal.
- The job will be is to liaise with the yard, address their queries, follow-up their progress and challenge / build his opinion on their technical capacity to successfully perform the project.
