We currently require a multi-disciplinary application engineer on a permanently basis. (Sakhalin staff only) The application engineer must have a good understanding of the various types of wells and the operations that may have to be performed.
Typical activities for a application engineer working within the customer include:
• discussing requirements for well completions with the customer, the owner, or operator of the well;
• providing technical specifications and operating instructions for the equipment required.
• RIH, maintenance and testing of completion equipment (onshore and offshore)
• awareness of and involvement in new completions technologies, with appropriate incorporation into designs and work programs.
Educated to degree level in engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum of three years of completions/workover and/or production downhole experience.
Familiarity with bridge plugs, down hole completion packers systems, gas lift systems, wireline and slickline equipment.
Strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills, demonstrated by an ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams
