This position is based in Uzhno-Sakhalinsk. Instrument Engineer Automation Engineer will be involved in a major Oil & Gas operator’s project.
Activities:
• Work with Process / Piping / Structural Engineers and Manufacturing representatives to review and validate instrument data
• Work with drafting department
• Develop and maintain an instrument index / schedule / datasheets / loops in an InTools database
• Size and select the appropriate instrument technology solution for each application used to purchase instruments
• Review and checking vendor documentation
• Develop and / or select cause and effect diagrams
• Develop and / or select instrument installation detail drawings and instrument wiring drawings
• Review the instrument documentation
• Apply global design standards client specification for instrumentation
• Take responsibility for the accuracy, safety, completeness and quality of all aspects of instrumentation on the project

Qualifications and Experience required:
• Graduate specialist with minimum 3-5 years experience in the oil and gas industries.
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
• Familiar with PCS, PLC, ESD, PSD, F&G, PA/GA, Telecom /CCTV System
• Familiar with brownfield project (FEED to detail design)
• Familiar with oil&gas equipment (Emerson, Rosemount, Honeywell, Notifier, GE, Cameron etc..)
• Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment
