This position is based in China, Indonesia, Philippines / Russia. Electrical Commissioning Lead will be involved in a major Oil & Gas Operator’s project.
Activities:
• Development of all the required documents as part of the Operational Readiness Plan development.
• Supervise engineering and maintenance operations on Electrical systems performed by contractors on LNG Plant.
• Participate in technical meetings, challenge the Contractor, monitor and promote cost saving solutions in the design. Promote alternatives for electrical design to optimize works and schedule.
• Participation in FAT, iFAT, SAT, commissioning and startup of Electrical systems, packages in vendor locations and construction Site and contribute / represent the Electrical Discipline taken into account priorities.
• Provide technical maintenance of power generation and distribution systems, and electrical equipment, while keeping good HSE results.
• Ensure reliability and integrity of electrical equipment and systems by using methods aimed at delivering reliability.
• Play key role in detecting, analyzing and rectifying defects in electrical systems.
• Report critical issues that hamper smooth operation of the Electrical systems (recurring problems) to Lead Electrical Engineer.
• To contribute to the project lessons learnt and improve skills of personnel.
• Propose and develop special procedures, operation instructions, work plans, inspection and testing schedules as part of the technical maintenance management system, including compliance control.

Qualifications and Experience required:
• Professional experience: More than 7 years’ experience and 3 years in Oil and Gas industry or/and in LNG plants.
• Extensive experience in LNG or/and major onshore oil-gas projects including engineering, construction, commissioning and operation of the electrical equipment in Arctic conditions.
• Proven operational experience in Oil and Gas industry with Electrical systems such as: power generation (gas turbine generators, essential diesel generators) and their auxiliaries, variable speed drive systems for main cryogenic compressors, electrical power distribution and control system (PDCS), electrical protection, UPS, EMCS, heat tracing and other miscellaneous electrical equipment.
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
• RF Electrical safety category – V.
• Experience with SAP, other ERP or Maintenance Management system.
• Working Knowledge of PC and mainframe computer programs.
• Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment.
