 Sakhalin Energy Investment Company Ltd. (Sakhalin Energy) is the operator of the Sakhalin-2 project under a Production Sharing Agreement with the Russian Federation. The company was formed in 1994 to develop the Piltun-Astokhskoye oil field and the Lunskoye gas field in the Sea of Okhotsk offshore Sakhalin Island in the Russian Far East.
 Sakhalin Energy is a unique partnership drawing upon global oil and LNG expertise and experience.
 Under the shareholding structure of Sakhalin Energy, Gazprom holds 50% plus 1 share, Shell 27.5%, Mitsui 12.5% and Mitsubishi 10%.

 Reporting line: Head of Geomatics
 
 Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
 
 •Higher professional education in Mechanical or Civil Engineering;
 •The work experience in this position shall be 10 years;
 •Contract Holder for high HSE risk Subsea Inspection and Diving Services Contract;
 •Implement OGP and IMCA requirements at Sakhalin Energy, with special emphasis on diving safety;
 •Responsible as Company site representative and Diving Technical Authority Level 2 for Underwater Inspection, Maintenance and Operations activities;
 •Maintain and execute accurate corrosion and equipment condition monitoring schedules, records, data and condition information related to sub-sea equipment;
 •Provide advice and recommendations to maintain sub-sea equipment integrity. Act as curator of inspection history providing transparent access to all;
 •Supervise sub-sea inspection of received materials, manufacture and repair to ensure compliance with specified code requirements;
 •Participate in execution of the reliability management system with the close involvement and action of maintenance and operation departments;
 •Ensure the sub-sea equipment, both new and existing, comply with company and regulatory inspection and design code requirements;
 •Assist in structured development of nationals to fulfil line positions;
 •Pervise diving and remote operated vehicle contract services;
 •The post holder is responsible for coaching and transfer of knowledge to subordinates.
 
 Experience and Qualifications required:
 
 •Higher professional education in Mechanical or Civil Engineering;
 •The work experience in this position shall be 10 years;
 •Extensive knowledge of all types of sub-sea activities including routine maintenance, inspection and underwater NDT;
 •CSWIP 3.2U Diver Inspector and CSWIP 3.3U ROV Inspector or equivalent is preferred;
 •Experience in planning and supervising sub-sea inspection and maintenance activities in an offshore environment;
 •Experience in field supervision of all sub-sea inspection and maintenance related activities;
 •Experience of providing solutions to difficult sub-sea inspection or maintenance problems;
 •Understanding of underwater repair techniques;
 •Understanding of sub-sea equipment operating parameters particularly in relation to inspection activities;
 •Ability to write sub-sea equipment maintenance related scopes of work and procedures;
 •Sound knowledge of the preparation and application of Job Safety Analysis as it relates to diving and remote operated vehicle activities;
 •Knowledge of diving and R.O.V. techniques and capabilities of different technologies and their applications relative to sub-sea equipment inspection;
 •Ability to collate intelligent sub-sea equipment survey results for submittal to classification society review and approval;
 •Regulatory codes and requirements, especially underwater related;
 •Roles and Responsibilities of Technical Authority Diving.-advanced PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
 •English language (advance).
