This position is based in West Siberia. The Mechanical & Piping Supervisor/Superintendent will be involved in one of the top 5 global Oil&Gas operator.
Activities: Supervision of Mechanical & Piping Project activities
Reports to Engineering Leader/Package Manager
The job holder manages, under the responsibility of the Package Manager, all technical activities related to Mechanical & Piping during Basic & Detailed engineering phases, with particular attention paid to HSE matters.
The job holder is the main interlocutor of Engineering and LLI’s Contractor(s) for Mechanical & Piping technical issues.
During the project, the Job Holder has to:
• Review and digest the pre-project studies. Verify the basis of design, and digest the detail design.
• Participate to the endorsement of the Pre-project dossier by the FEED contractor and detail design documentation and drawings by Contractor. Verify the deliverables related to Mechanical & Piping
• Coordinate and supervise Mechanical & Piping studies for the Well surface facilities Pads.
• Check that the design is developed in line with the Pre-Project and the Statement of Requirements
• Ensure coordination of Mechanical & Piping activities with the other Specialists within the project team. Ensure global consistency of the design
• Follow-up Contractor(s) activities. Control and comment all Mechanical & Piping documentation issued by contractor(s) related to engineering, procurement, project management, fabrication and tests, and check that they are as per Company specifications and rules. Review and answer to the Engineering Queries and Requests For Waiver
• Ensure all piping deliverables are following scope of work and design requirements. Provide detailed design mark-up documents when necessary
• Call for and participate to necessary technical and/or co-ordination meetings required to achieve the performance of the work. Participate to internal and external interface meetings
• Participate to Technical Reviews/Audits (HAZID, HAZOP, PTR …). Ensure follow-up and implementation of outcome
• Participate to the Tender Packages, Technical Evaluation, Recommendation To Award … for the EPC and LLI’s Contractor’s selection.
• Liaise with the operating team to collect necessary data for the project
• Manage technical interfaces related to Mechanical & Piping between EPC Contracts, LLI’s …
• Provide support/participate to construction and commissioning for activities related to Mechanical & Piping
• Verify that the Contractor(s) are administrating properly the Company Long Lead Items
• Provide input to the Engineering Leader/Package Manager for Mechanical & Piping progress reporting (data, narrative …), highlight critical problems and propose corrective actions
• Ensure and liaise with his field project engineer and design author ship

Accountabilities:
Ensure the satisfactory completion of project in terms of Mechanical & Piping activities
Manage and control (technical, schedule …) and approve Mechanical & Piping engineering studies during the Project execution in line with the company’s Referential, Master Development Plan …
Anticipate potential problems of interfaces. Analyse and propose corrective actions
Qualifications and Experience required:
Graduate engineer with minimum 5 years experience in the oil industry as Mechanical & Piping engineer (upstream).
Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
Fluent Russian is mandatory.
Good communication skills, able to work in a multicultural environment
Experimented user for autocad and knowledge for 3 D model software.
