An International company is looking for a Gangway operator in Russia to work in Sakhalin island
Project is for 10 years.
Requirements:
Strong Hydraulic or Electrical experience
English – Upper-Intermediate
Shoud be located in Sakhalin
Purpose of the job: Responsible for safe transfers after the status of the Gangway system has been confirmed, in an environment where safety is the first priority.
General operation
Gangway operator is able to operate and understand control panel.
In addition, Operator is to identify safety issues and take the required actions.
Operator is familiar with the offshore life and understands the importance of working safely.
Operator knows how to respond in emergency situations
Operator is aware of the importance of performing maintenance and is to conduct daily pre-start checks, and assists during periodic maintenance.
Operator has got basic Gangway system knowledge.
Safety
Gangway operator has knowledge of and is to work according to the Golden & Silver rules.
Takes responsibility when an unsafe situation is identified, takes the appropriate action, and submit a CMO report.
